| Does the stoller strides revolution have hand brakes? Which stoller would you recommend for my needs - BOB revolution, the D'Lux off-roading one, a BabyJogger? I have two year old twins - approx. 30 lbs. each, I am thinking of purchasing a jogging stoller for a single seater. I would like to start running again approx. 5 miles, 3-4 times a week. I run on sidewalks, which are narrow, have tree roots and cracks. I am worried about running fast and having the stoller get stuck on the lip of cracked sidewalk. I also live on a long steep hill and would like to be able to walk up and down steep hills. I have been able to do this with a double McClaren regular stroller, but the lack of a hand brake is scary. I doubt I would use a jogger in the mall much as I would either use the double stoller, or just let the boys walk. Which stroller would you recommend? I think I would like hand brakes for use on the hills. |

| No, the Stroller Strides Revolution does not have a hand break. The Revolution is the only swivel-wheeled stroller that I would recommend you can jog with. The reasoning is because the front wheel locks in a forward position, not tucked underneath the frame like other swivel wheeled strollers. With the front wheel locked in the forward position, it allows for more tread out front while jogging, giving you a smoother jog. This stroller is also equipped with a very nice suspension as well. Now, if you were wanting to jog off road and like fixed wheeled strollers I would suggest the Bob SUS D'Lux because it has all 16" wheels and the wheel tread is that of a bmx bike, with the knobby wheels. I would have to recommend the SUS over the Bob Revolution because it does have a locking handbrake. |
